The Rich Text Format (RFT) is a Microsoft document file format which most word processors are able to open and edit.
The Portable Document Format (PDF) requires Adobe Reader to open it. Adobe Reader (formerly known as Acrobat Reader) is available as a no-charge download from the Adobe website, and allows the viewing and printing of PDF files.
